Dr Bahareh SamieiObstetrician & Gynaecologist (MBBS FRANZCOG)
Dr. Bahareh Samiei is female specialist Obstetrician and Gynaecologist located in Western Sydney (Westmead) and SAN Wahroonga. She became a Fellow of Royal Australian & New Zealand College of Obstetrics & Gynaecology (FRANZCOG) in 2015.
She has done her Obstetrics & Gynaecology training at Sydney's Westmead Hospital where she did 12 months advanced training as a Gynaecological Laparoscopic Fellow with special interest in minimally invasive surgery. She spent her last year of training as the Senior Registrar at Westmead Hospital managing a busy tertiary unit that did over 5000 deliveries annually. Having done all her training in the Western Sydney, she maintains her passion for empowering women and providing a service for women of such a diverse backgrounds.
Dr Samiei has been an active member of RANZCOG, involved in teaching of Obstetrics & Gynaecology trainees and one of the training supervisor of RANZCOG. She is dedicated to teaching and consistently plays an active role in educating and teaching medical students, junior doctors, midwives and other health professionals.
She is currently staff specialist at Westmead Hospital Sydney and runs Gynaecological and Antenatal clinics. Her areas of specialty and interest are:

In her spare time she is busy being the proud mother of two boys. Having her own family has also allowed her to understand the stresses of pregnancy as well as those of raising a family while both parents work. She welcomes any questions or any queries you may have and is dedicated to fostering a collaborative and multidisciplinary approach to women’s health and will strive to continuously improve it.
